The enrolment of Drawing Competition is now open for students from Senior Primary to Junior Secondary. With the inspiration of the art works and stories of an artist with disability, Chan Tung Mui, we hope to encourage students to express their feeling in different stages of growth and the unforgettable moments by painting. Arts can be enjoyed with different senses and by different means. Meet us at the Open Studio of JCAASC on 13 and 14 December 2014 and ‘see’ an exhibition with your ears, ‘listen to’ a story with your hands. Bring home a DIY tactile bookmark and join sharing sessions of artists with disabilities on an accessible journey. Free admission and anyone interested is welcome to join!
The Hong Kong Jockey Club Community Project Grant: Inclusive Arts Project Updates
The coming ‘A Bit More Than Arts Festival’ will be held from 2 January to 15 February 2015. This year Jockey Club Inclusive Arts Studio (JCIAS) steps into ‘A New Direction for Inclusive Arts’ through different arts workshops and activities, and cooperation with various artists and arts groups.
Please come to join the Festival which includes exhibitions, opening ceremony cum performance showcase, guided tours, and artists sharing workshops. Have a joyful and interesting experience on inclusive arts. |

This is the 4th consecutive year our artists with disabilities are invited to perform in the LCSD - New Year Eve's Countdown Carnival. ADA’s Green Leaf Artist, Michelle Siu, who has an angelic voice, together with 3 energetic rappers from Unbelievable will share an amazing musical evening with the audience.
We are happy to provide accessibility services for ‘Tuesdays with Morrie’ again. Audio Description and also Theatrical Interpretation will be available. All are welcome to join us and revisit these final life lessons with Prof Morrie.

‘A Light Up World’ Art-jamming Workshop
ADAM has held an Art-jamming workshop with Rotary Club of City Northwest Hong Kong in September 2014. Mr. Ko Nam, ADA Angel, conducted a painting demonstration to the Rotarians and their family members. The 8 artworks created on that day, together with 6 artworks from artists with disabilities have been used for the production of desktop calendar 2015 of the Club.
Convoy 2015 Calendar Production
12 artworks from different artists with disabilities have been selected for the production of desktop calendar 2015 of Convoy Financial Services Limited. The featuring artists include ADA Angel, Ko Nam, Liu Tung Mui, Green Leaf Artist Wong Yun Chuen and Registered Artists with Disabilities Chan Tung Mui, KoKo, Ng Hoi Tung, So Kit and Artists with Disabilities Au Yeung Ngai Hei, Fung King Lim, Sonney Lai, So Wai Ching, and Wong Yan Ning. The calendar is in the theme of 'Colour of Life', with the hope of promotion of social inclusion.

Chinachem Walkathon 2014
The Chinachem Walkathon 2014 has been held on 9 November 2014 at Tai Tam Country Park. Registered Artist with Disabilities, Ng Sau Ling has been invited to join the event to enjoy the experience of ‘Green for all’ with participants. Sau Ling has been the ambassador of the walkathon, all the promotional materials from posters to the event backdrop and transit advertisement highlight a bright painting entitled ‘Freedom’ created by Sau Ling.
ADA Artists Showcasing Night ‘IMPerfect Creativity’ @ PMQ
The Showcasing Night ‘IMPerfect Creativity’ was brought to a successful closure on 1 December. We are honoured to have guests including renowned architect Dr. Chan Lai Kiu, founder and designer of Chocolate Rain Prudence Mak, creator of ‘P on P’ art form Samantha Li to have a wonderful ‘Design Dialogue’ with ADA artists, including Kevin Cheng, Vincy Leung and Apple Tong. Besides, we hosted an exhibition 'Coexist' from now till 7 December. Six innovative artists with disabilities take the audience through the cityscape and the artists’ inner space, and they are trying to use painting and photography to lead us in and out of urban environment and the artists’ soul. Don’t miss it!
