A Bit More Than Arts Festival: Inclusive Art - Inclusive Life
A Bit More Than Arts Festival is an arts festival that focuses on the theme of inclusiveness, and combines various events and activities including the Play-it-forward Ceremony cum Performance Showcase, Exhibitions, Guided Tours and Workshops, Arts Sharing and Exploration Workshops to promote the development of inclusive arts.
Since 2008, the Jockey Club Inclusive Arts Studio (JCIAS) has provided opportunities for 170,000 community members to experience the diversity and interactive nature of arts through programmes such as the Jockey Club Inclusive Arts Project and the Hong Kong Jockey Club Community Project Grant: Inclusive Arts Project. It enabled them to learn about inclusive arts and apply the inclusive spirit to every aspect of life.
A Bit More Than Arts Festival 2015 is the fifth annual arts festival organised by JCIAS, and will be held between 2 January to 2 February in 2016. This year’s theme is “Inclusive Art - Inclusive Life”, and will display the artistic experiences and creations of community members and artists at JCIAS, which aims to promote the spirit of inclusiveness. When every person can equally participate and display their uniqueness, learn from and appreciate each other, bliss and satisfaction can be achieved.
We hope you will join us in learning about inclusive arts and living an inclusive lifestyle!
