Citywalk Gallery is holding an exhibition to display over 50 artistic envelopes and letters, including about 25 of them created by ADA Green Leaf Artist, Mr Frank Wong. This first-ever joint exhibition of Frank and Ronnie is intended to explore the possibilities of letters in art. The exhibition will be held until 20th February 2016 at Upper G/F, Citywalk 2, Tsuen Wan. Frank has started collecting used envelope since 2012. Not only does it being environment friendly, the postmarks on the envelopes add unparalleled uniqueness on his art pieces.
A special workshop, ‘Arts on Letters – Art Envelope’ will be held in the same venue at 2pm on 13 Feb 2016. Frank will share the technique of drawing on envelopes and his valuable experience of creating the art pieces. Hong Kong Sign Language Interpretation service will be provided for the workshop. |
‘A Bit More than Arts Festival 2015’ successfully completed
‘A Bit More than Arts Festival 2015’ was successfully completed last week. A variety of programmes, including pre-festival exhibition, ceremony cum performance, main exhibition, guided tour with workshop, arts sharing and exploration workshop had showcased what the participants learned from the Jockey Club Inclusive Arts Studio in the past year. The participants shared their experience on creating art pieces with the public. We also shared the teaching and learning experiences between students and arts facilitators. We appreciate the input from the artists and the participants in all programmes!

‘Limitless’ Inclusive Festival
Organized by Centre Stars of the Dean of Student Office, Hong Kong Polytechnic University (PolyU), ADAM has participated in the ‘Limitless’ Inclusive Festival on 13 and 14 January 2016 to promote inclusive arts on campus. Green Leaf Artist Wilson Yung were invited for a music performance while Christine Lau and Jason Wong, also Green Leaf artists, had a joint dance performance in the opening ceremony of the festival. Registered artist Sonney Lai has also brought paper art creation workshop to ADAM’s booth on the FJ Podium of PolyU.
Two sessions of Open Studio will be held in February at Jockey Club Inclusive Arts Studio. ‘Saxophone Concert by La Sax’ will be held on 20 February (Sat) at JCCAC L2 Podium. This session also includes an introduction of Saxophone. Please come to have a relaxing musical afternoon.
‘Dance Sharing with Jason Wong’ will be held on 27 February (Sat). Green Leaf Artist Jason will share his experience of studying dance in US last year. He will also share how his studies inspired his dance creation and sharpened his dance techniques.

The 4th "Artists with Disability Development Fund”, funded by Lee Hysan Foundation, is now open for application! This fund aims to finance and assist outstanding artists with disabilities in Hong Kong to pursue local or overseas studies in arts or specific development plan in the arts. Through participating in different community programmes, awarded artists help advocate social inclusion with ADA together.
