“3+3” Photo Exhibition
ADA Artists - Jack Li, Casey Chan and Kevin Cheng collaborated with three experienced photographers - Oswald Cheung, Martin Lam and Felix So, they worked in pairs and created connections via photography, exploring infinite possibility in "3+3".

“LOVE'S TEAM” Charity Event
ADA will participate in “LOVE’S TEAM” Charity Event which is organized by Swire Properties Community Ambassador on 14th to 16th October, 2016 in Taikoo Place Artistree. During the event, there are DIY Piggy Bank Workshop, “Touch your face, Touch the love” portrait sketch in tactile format, face painting and performances by our artists with disabilities. Moreover, envelop painting by Frank Wong, ADA Green Leaf Artist, will be auctioned for fundraising. This event is also supported by a matching fund from Swire Group; all the money raised during the event will be doubled and donated to ADA! Hope to see you in this fun and meaningful event.

Illustration Project - Crystal Jade La Mian Xiao Long Bao
ADA Angel, Apple Tong, has been commissioned by Crystal Jade La Mian Xiao Long Bao to create a brand new illustration for celebrating the restaurant’s 15th Anniversary in Hong Kong. The colorful artwork depicts the culinary treasures of Imperial China, with the restaurant’s handmade delicacy. The artwork has been used in a series of marketing collaterals such as table mat, poster and leaflet since Sep 2016. Come to have a look on Apple’s great illustration while having delicious dining in the restaurant!

The Opening and Prize Presentation Ceremony of “Cross All Borders 2016” was successfully held on 5th October, 2016 (Wednesday). The officiating guests, judges, artists and friends form different sectors came to enjoy the exhibition and share the joy of all the awardees.
The exhibition showcases nearly 100 extraordinary artworks from now to 14th October at Exhibition Gallery, Tsuen Wan Town Hall. Welcome to join this splendid art world of artists with different abilities.

Visioning in the Dark
Around 20 participants of persons with visual impairment joined the photography workshop on 17th and 18th September, 2016 respectively at Hong Kong Centre of Asia Society and 9 photographers taught them the photo shooting skills. Their photos will be exhibited from 28th October to 16th November at Exhibition Area in 5/F, JCCAC.
Performance in Hong Kong Social Enterprise Challenge
ADA Green Leaf Artist - Chiu Wai Chi (Jessica), Jason Wong and Angel Yam had been invited to perform in the opening show of Hong Kong Social Enterprise Challenge, which was held on 10th Septerber at Shaw College of the Chinese University of Hong Kong. Eman Lam, a famous Hong Kong singer-songwriter, also performed with Jessica, receiving big applause and attention in the show!
ADAM’s trip to Vietnam
ADA Registered Artist- Yeung Siu Fong had been invited by Prudential Hong Kong to be the guest speaker for the event “Run to MDRT training camp” that was held from 2nd to 4th September in Ho Chi Minh City, Vietnam. In the event, Siu Fong shared her positive attitude of self break-though and her can-do spirit to all participants. After the sharing, there was a long line queuing up to take photos with Siu Fong. Thanks for everyone’s support and encouragement!

ADA artists are invited to participate in “Miranda and Caliban: The Making of a Monster” - Produced by Birds of Paradise Theatre Company
Angel Artists Jason Wong and Kevin Cheng are invited to participate in this performance that is produced by Birds of Paradise Theatre Company from UK. Inspired by The Tempest,“Miranda and Caliban: The Making of a Monster” explores the meaning of “home” and “others”. The world premiere will be staged in Hong Kong and simultaneously broadcasting in Glasgow via internet on 5th and 6th November. Cantonese sign language and English audio description will be integrated into the performance.
This performance is Part of the British Council’s Shakespeare Lives in 2016 and also one of the Art Snap performances in New Vision Arts Festival 2016.

Training for Artists with Disabilities (AWDs): Workshop of Puppetry Making and Puppetry Theatre
