Drama Programme “The Path Together’
Our new drama programme “The Path Together” is a story about an artist Mandy who is hosting a collaborative exhibition with three artists with disabilities Liu Tung Mui, Lee Hin and Kevin Cheng. During the discuss process, there are disagreement on the direction and artistic approach. Mandy is facing a lot of challenges even the identity of “Artist”. Can Mandy overcome the obstacles?

“Garden of the Artisans” Festival
The participants of “Visual Arts creation and display Workshop”* were invited to join “Garden of the Artisans” Festival which was organised by Youth Square. They shared their ideas and the joy of arts with the visitors from December 9 to 11 at Y-Loft.

ADA x ADAM x Cheongsam Connection @ Ink Asia 2016
Ink Asia 2016 was held at HKCEC in mid-December. ADA collaborated with the Cheongsam Connection to set up a booth which included four stunning ink artworks from ADAM resident Liu Tung Mui, charity sale of handmade clutch bag, ADAHK x L plus H art scarf and workshop of Ink Piggy Bank and coin bag. Four-day event received strong supports from the general public. Chief Secretary Mrs Carrie Lam Cheng Yuet-ngor officiated the opening ceremony and personally talked with Liu Tung-mui with a group photo.

Cheering from the Lion Dance
Referred by ADAM, the lion dance team of Christian Family Service Center (CFSC) made a special performance on 10th Dec at the “Geo Hero Run 2016” that is organized by NWS Holdings Limited. The lion dance crew cheered up the runners with energetic movements and hope to see you all at the next event.

Portrait sketch up high in the sky
Last month, our ADA Angels Apple Tong and registered artist Zita Lam were invited to provide portrait sketch in Sky 100, which was organized by SHKP Vertical Run for Charity, to alleviate the runners’ anxiety after race. Overwhelming response were received with many joyful and photo-taking moments with runners.

Sign up for the Public Guided Tour of The 6th Artists in the Neighbourhood Scheme: 9x9 !
Nine local artists from the Post-90s generation realised the diminishing of craftsmanship in Hong Kong and start learning the various craftsmanship from masters. An exhibition will display the artists’ interpretation of traditional crafts in their new and refreshing perspectives. Accessible assistance for people with different abilities, including sign interpretation and audio description in Cantonese will be provided.
