Introduction

Chan Tung Mui is enthusiastic about life and is good at creating heart-warming paintings with her feet. Suffered from cerebral palsy since an early age, Tung Mui has sppech difficulties and her trembling arms made it hard for her to write. However, she does not give up and hopes to spread to the world the message of love by using her left foot to paint. She is a student painter of “The Association of Mouth and Foot Painting Artists Worldwide (AMFPA) Hong Kong”. She has studied in various courses including Commercial Graphic Design Diploma course at First Institute of Art & Design, and Design and Illustration course at the Hong Kong Polytechnic University. Also, she learned calligraphy, ikebana and weaving in Japan in 2009.

Being an awardee of “The Outstanding Disabled Persons” in 2004, Tung Mui, has always been invited to different schools, churches and social welfare organizations, sharing her experience and paintings with others so as to encourage youngsters and children. She has been participating in numerous local and overseas joint exhibitions as well as solo exhibitions, such as “My Heart. My Poem. My Path” and “The 1st International Festival of Inclusive Arts 2006 - Inclusive Arts Exhibitions”. She has also exchanged with foreign artists in the USA and Canada.
