油麻地警署1893年設立，原位於上海街及眾坊街交界，當時的上海街亦因此稱為差館街。1922年，警署遷往廣東道及眾坊街交界。戰後警署隔鄰加建新翼及宿舍。
Yau Ma Tei Police Station was established in 1893, located at the junction of Public Square Street and Shanghai Street. Shanghai Street was called ‘Police Station Street’ at that time. In 1922, the police station was relocated to the junction of Public Square Street and Canton Road. In the post-war period, there were an extension wing and a new police quarters built next to the police station.
