Introduction

Li Yip-fuk (Jack), an Associate of the Royal Photographic Society (ARPS), specializes in landscape and surreal photography. Jack has been involved in photography since 2006 and was mentored by leading photographers in Hong Kong, including Mr. Au Yeung Chi Kong, Venerable Chang Lin, Mr. Picasso Chang and Mr. Ducky Tse. Over the years, Jack has earned recognition at local and international photo contests. He represented Hong Kong to compete in the International Abilympics held in South Korea, Japan and France and won the second gold medal for Hong Kong in this big event. In recent years, he has continued to explore his style of surreal photography and at the same time returned to basics of capturing people’s inner world.

Apart from being a keen photographer, Jack actively participates in social services and utilises his strengths to make contribution to society. In 2013, Jack was appointed to be the “Hong Kong Spirit Ambassador” to encourage youngsters to build positive values in life through sharing his personal experience and artworks in schools and community centres. On the other hand, he hopes his story can inspire more people with hearing impairment to learn photography and to appreciate life through art.
