Screen print your tote bag @ Freespace Happening!
To wrap up this season’s Freespace Happening, ADAHK will bring you a screen printing workshop that for sure can spark joy! Splatter a glop of ink, spread it around, and slowly peel the screen off, TAH-DAH, you can get a free one-of-a-kind tote bag. Featuring a cute silhouette, the mold is specially designed by the participants of the painting workshop under “Community in Art”. As well as presenting our fun-packed crafty workshop, we will team up with “a nice place to” to take you on a blindfold walk – a unique chance to experience the beautiful Art Park with other senses.
There are also lots of other great activities around the park. You can enjoy a great mix of sounds from around the globe, from Indonesia, France to the US. If you are keen to move and shake, don’t hesitate and join the indigenous Indian dance workshop. Does all of the above give you a thrill of excitement and a little spark of happiness? Then get your sleeves rolled up and join us for the last round of this season’s Freespace Happening! Hong Kong Arts Festival presents No Limits! Get your tickets now!
No Limits, presented by The Hong Kong Jockey Club Charities Trust and Hong Kong Arts Festival will kick start a fabulous series of accessible dance, theatre, music performance and other art forms by local and international artists from 15 March to 31 March 2019. ADAHK artists, Christine Lau, and Olivia from P&O will join professional dancers, actors, and dance enthusiast for a special performance at the Jérôme Bel – Gala.
Invited as the Strategic Supporting Partner, ADAHK will also provide a series of arts accessibility services, so that people with and without disabilities can share the joy of arts together! Community in Arts* – Inclusive Exhibition 2018 ‧ Bringing a breeze of vitality to the community
The Community in Arts Inclusive Exhibition 2018 brings together an incredible array of art pieces created by the participants of the art training courses, including those from the“Character Design X Stop Motion Animation” workshop. Over a hundred pieces covering painting, photography, three-dimensional crafts, weaving, etc., will be exhibited at the Jockey Club Creative Arts Centre (JCCAC). The exhibition will also feature works created by our rehabilitation partners. Students of different abilities manifest their love of art by creating an array of creative pieces. A fun day will also be held on 6 April. The participants of the art training courses design a unique artistic experience workshop, allowing the community to experience the endless fun of artistic creation.

In collaboration of LegCo, ADAM launches new series of souvenir items
ADAM and The Legislative Council (LegCo) Commission recently collaborated and launched a series of souvenir items, which are now exclusively for sale at the LegCo Souvenir Shop. The series of souvenir items, including silk tie, silk scarf, document bag, and backpack, is adapted from the painting, Hong Kong Spirit 3 by our resident artist, Liu Tung-mui. Vibrant and bright colours are used in the painting to represent the energetic spirit of modern Hong Kong, making each souvenir item both functional and aesthetically pleasing.
