Job Description

 

Reporting to the Executive Director, the Officer, Social Enterprise supports the operation and business of the Social Enterprise of Arts with the Disabled Association Hong Kong (ADAM). This position plays an important role in securing employment opportunities for the Artists with Disabilities, through collaboration with corporates, schools, NGOs, and other working partners. Establishing and maintaining mutually beneficial relationship with the artists is critical in this role, as well as aiming for operation financial sustainability.

 

Responsibilities:

 

  • To work closely with the Executive Director to source, plan, and execute various projects;
  • To support the Executive Director in writing proposals, budget, reports, assessments and evaluations of projects;
  • To plan and develop marketing activities to promote the mission of ADAM to the public;
  • To be responsible for account and customer relationship management;
  • To explore and acquire new business opportunities to provide platforms for the artists to showcase their talents and to create employment opportunities for the artists;
  • To negotiate collaboration details with working partners;
  • To establish trust and understanding with the artists;
  • To arrange logistics, support artists, and coordinate with volunteers/helpers for project delivery;
  • To maintain and expand the volunteer base;
  • To carry out any other reasonable tasks assigned by the Executive Director.

 

Requirements:

 

  • Degree holder, at least 2 years project management experience;
  • Passionate with community projects and enjoy working with schools, community partners, other NGOs, etc.;
  • Appreciate the talents of and enthusiastic in working with persons with different needs;
  • Good knowledge on arts;
  • Experience in writing proposals and reports, budget control, assessments of projects;
  • Creative, flexible, independent, with initiative and strong ability awareness, excellent interpersonal and communication skills;
  • Proficient computer literacy in MS Office and good command of written English and Chinese;
  • Experience working with persons with disabilities or other communities is a plus;
  • Irregular working hours and work on public holidays may be required;
  • Applicants with higher qualifications may be considered for a more senior position.
