‘Marketing’ could be a term that is unfamiliar to artists. Usually, there are arts administrators to help to promote artists' works and exhibitions. Nevertheless, an artist himself/herself is indeed the best promoter for his/her own. From presenting personal and interesting stories, to describing creation style, developing individual portfolio for preparation of interviews, artists can get themselves ready to face the media and the public.
This workshop is consisted of lessons, sharing and interactive sessions. It is expected that participants will learn the key concepts of marketing and adopt them into your own approaches. Meanwhile, participants shall learn how to turn your creative idea into solid programme for proposal and funding solicitation.
