Visitors to arts galleries and museums always only can appreciate the end product of paintings, but miss the most valuable and interesting part ¡V its creative process. The dance inspires ADA Angel Ko Nam. Each stroke, line and dot on the painting seems to echo the dance movement of the lady. The common roots of Chinese dance, music and painting will be explored in this collaborative exercise.

Moving to the Tempo of Hong Kong
Established by the former Urban Council in 1981 with the aim of promoting Chinese dance, the Hong Kong Dance Company (HKDC) was formally incorporated in April 2001 as a Company Limited, and is a charitable and non-profit-making institution of a public character. With subvention from the Leisure and Cultural Services Department of the HKSAR Government, HKDC is Hong Kong's premier flagship dance group. Since its establishment, HKDC has staged over a hundred productions to critical acclaim, including musical The Border Town, Red Poppies, Little Panda in a Big Big World, Dream Dances, The Smiling Proud Wanderer, Qingming Riverside, Angel Falls, etc.
Ko Nam
He says the most magical thing about his life is that while he lost hearing, he has got the ability of using painting as a communication tool.
Born in China in 1963, Ko Nam lost his hearing due to childhood sickness. He loves nature and travels widely in China. He skillfully interprets the realistic world with his feelings using colourful strokes and brushes. Ko Nam¡¦s paintings are full of nature¡¦s touching facets as well as the painter¡¦s inner passions. He is skilled in painting the mountains, the countryside, the snow and the wood scenes. Ko Nam is the winner of Poster design, Silk Painting and Watercolour Painting Contest in 2003 and 2007. In 1993, he took part in ¡§Art exhibition for the international panda festival in Chengdu¡¨. In 2004 ¡V 2006, he participated in various exhibitions, e.g., The International VSA Arts Festival, Painting and Calligraphy Exhibition for the Celebration of PRC National Day and International Festival of Inclusive Arts.
