ADA Angel of the Arts with the Disabled Association Hong Kong. He studied with noted painters including Cen Xue Gong, Luo Ci Bing and Mou Kang Hua. In 1982, his work “Painting of the Three Gorges” was chosen to participate in the “National Handicapped Person” and “Art Exhibition for the International Handicapped Person” in Spain and Yugoslavia. In 1993, he took part in “Art exhibition of Sichuan province” as well as “Art exhibition for the international panda festival in Chengdu”.

Ko Nam is born in Chengdu China and moved to Hong Kong in 1994. He had his solo exhibitions in Hong Kong in 1995, 2000 and 2008. He was the champion of Hong Kong Abilympics 2003 & 2007 and represented Hong Kong to the International Abilympics in India and Japan. During 2004-2006, he participated in various exhibitions, e.g., The International VSA Arts Festival in Washington D.C., Henderson ArtReach Project, Painting and Calligraphy Exhibition for the Celebration of PRC National Day and International Festival of Inclusive Arts. 

In  2008-09, he participated in the arts community project Dancing Sketch and painted on large paintings during the dance performances. In June 2010, Ko Nam is invited to held a painting workshop and exhibite two of his artworks in Washington D.C. by the International VSA Festivel.  In 2011, he is the Champion in Watercolour Competition in the 8th Hong Kong.

Ko Nam, with hearing impairment, is skilled in painting of the scenery of mountain, countryside, snow mountain and the forest. Recently, he paints Hong Kong scenery and Hong Kong Natioanl Geopark for the publication of Agriculture, Fisheries and Conservation Department. His painting of the modern young ladies are characterized as being free and easy, passionate and optimistic, creating his unique sound world from his silent life. Many of his paintings are collected by various collectors from the United States, Canada, England, Japan, Denmark and Taiwan etc.
