Cotton tigers represent good luck in Chinese culture. To celebrate Lunar New Year, The Link invited local artists with or without disabilities to decorate some lucky cotton tigers. The tigers will be displayed in shopping centers governed by The Link to greet everyone.
Joint Art Exhibition of Artists with and without DisabilitiesThe Joint Art Exhibition is a cooperation of different parties, such as ADA Angels, registered artists with disabilities, arts facilitators, participants of arts workshops, artists of the Jockey Club Creative Arts Centre (JCCAC) and a number of renowned local artists. Over 80 unique cotton tigers were made. Besides the implication of luck, the cotton tigers also imply our mission, "Arts are for everyone" because artists with or without disabilities could send everyone their good wishes through the same platform.
The press conference on 18 Jan at Lok Fu Plaza was filled with joy as more than 20 artists met the media with their cotton tigers.
