Cross All Borders: A Mini Festival Showcasing New Performing Artists with Disabilities

The Festival was successfully held during 22 - 23 August 2009 at Sai Wan Ho Civic Centre. All contestants were on their mettle to show their best in order to grab the awards. The two-night event displayed a wide array of abilities of emerging performing artists with disabilities. Their performances were truly exceptional and inspiring. Four top winners were finally chosen.

The 15 fascinating performances received favourable remarks from the panel of judges who said it was a very challenging job and a difficult decision to select the winners.

Audience enjoyed the show and gave touching applause. Same thing happened at the backstage, where each contestant was applauded by all the others. The Festival opened up the exchange and appreciation opportunities between artists with and without disabilities.
