"Fishes and Birds" Charitable Exhibition

Italian high-end fashion brand SPORTMAX prologues their series of festivities by collaborating with young talented Hong Kong sculptor Wong Tin Yan for a charitable exhibition "Fishes and Birds". Famed models Mikki Yao, Marie Zhuge and Irene Wang step forward to show their support, together with the exhibition's artist Wong Tin Yan and "ADA Angel" - Christina Wong, celebrate the grand opening on 30 July,2009 at Gallery by The Harbour, Harbour City. The exhibition which inspires people to fully utilize resources they have and stresses on environmental protection, moreover, to promote the message: “Arts are for Everyone”. Persons with disability should have equal opportunity to have access to, participate in and enjoy the arts.

"Fishes and Birds" exhibition will display four specially designed *Wong Tin Yan x SPORTMAX T-shirts and displays Wong Tin Yan junk wood sculptures. New "life" is given to those junk woods when they are put into Wong's hand who demonstrates his humor and creativity for transforming junks into lively fascinating art pieces in animal forms such as birds, fishes, flamingo, octopus, etc. Those t-shirts and some small "create your own" recycle brooches (HK$100 each) will be available to sale for charitable purposes.

Revenue generated after cost during the exhibition period will be donated to Arts with the Disabled Association (ADA) Hong Kong.
