"The Smile of Silent Angel", Greenleaf Artist Apple Tong's first painting album will release in July. Besides major bookstores, you may find "The Smile of Silent Angel" at Sun Hung Kai Reading Club booth in this year's Hong Kong Book Fair (16 – 22 July).
You are also invited to the book launch of "The Smile of Silent Angel", held on 20 July inside the Book Fair. Apple will share about her inspiration and growing-up stories with the audience. |
Cross All Borders has received overwhelming response with nearly 850 artworks submitted! Selected by an adjudication committee, the selected artworks will be exhibited at The Exhibition Gallery of Sha Tin Town Hall from 6 to 18 September, and the outstanding pieces will be awarded on 6 September at the Gallery. Various Guided Tours and Workshops will be held during the exhibition.

Funded by Lee Hysan Foundation, the "Artists with Disability Development Fund" has announced the grantees of 2014. The two outstanding artists Siu Hoi Yan and Tang Cheuk Him will carry out their art development plans with the support of the Fund. Let's look forward to their exquisite performances in the near future!
ADA artists add colours to the Hong Kong International Dragon Boat Races
ADA Angel, Miss Liu Tung Mui and Green Leaf Artist, Miss Apple Tong have been honorably invited by China Construction Bank (Asia) to co-design a dragon boat art installation for CCB (Asia) Hong Kong International Dragon Boat Races. The art installation has been displayed at the Avenue of Stars during Hong Kong Dragon Boat Carnival from the 6 to 8 June, 2014. Depicted on the golden dragon boat was an artwork named "Glory in the Blossom" created by Miss Liu Tung Mui. The three 3-D figurines on the dragon boat designed by Apple Tong have made the art installation even more perfect. ADAM is looking forward to more collaboration possibilities with companies in the future.
Under the "Creativity to Independence Project", funded by Social Welfare Department, we are going to hold a series of Train-the-Trainers programme -"Express Diversity!", "How to Organise a Public Event for ALL" and "How to display the artworks of persons with disabilities".
