Participation in East Kowloon Cultural Centre Barrier Free Facilities Consultation Meeting
ADAHK attended the 'East Kowloon Cultural Centre Barrier Free Facilities Consultation Meeting' with a number of rehabilitation organisations on 29th October. In the meeting, we particularly expressed our concerns with regard to the auditorium design, accessible dressing room, accessible control rooms and venue facilities.
After the meeting, we co-worked with the Hong Kong Joint Council for People with Disabilities and provider our suggestions to Leisure and Cultural Services Department for their further consideration. We urged the relevant departments to hold consultation meeting again to inform stakeholders about the revised design.
