Introduction
Wong Wing Hong has been passionate in painting since young and is particularly talented in acrylic and oil paintings where he displays high degree of delicacy despite the fact that experiencing spasm has resulted in frequent shaking of his hands. Wing Hong also produces paintings of diverse themes while showing special preference in realistic characters and landscape over the world, such as the exotic landscape in Portugal, New Zealand, Brazil, Athens, Malaysia and Beijing where he visited as a Boccia representative of Hong Kong during 1999 to 2010.
Wing Hong enriches his experience by actively participating in various exhibitions and competitions where he has also achieved outstanding performance, including his work “Pray” being shortlisted in “Cross all Borders: Hong Kong Festival Showcasing New Visual Artists with Disabilities 2010”, his winning of the first place in the Oil Painting Competition at the “8th Hong Kong Abilympics” and his representation of Hong Kong to compete with artists from different countries in “The 8th International Abilympics” in Korea.
Wing Hong describes artistic creation as an amazing thing in life and he hopes to undergo trainings in various areas in order to take his skills to the next level.
