Introduction
Cheung Wai Kin is passionate about music. He displayed his talent at a young age by performing music pieces from memory with the violin. He has also achieved silver prize in “The 3rd International Music and Art Competition” 2008.
Apart from music, Wai Kin also shows interest in painting, where he likes capturing and depicting details of human emotions and expressions. Not only has he been participating in various competitions in recent years, among which his work “My Village” was selected in “Cross All Borders: Hong Kong Festival Showcasing New Visual Artists with Disabilities 2010”, Wai Kin is also a sun-shine boy who excels in sports and his ability can be seen from his championship in the 100-meter running in the Special Olympics Hong Kong 2007-2008.
Wai King is an active participant in community service who always visits to elderly centres and joins the community exhibitions as “TREAT-Intergrated Youth Ambassador”, with the hope to communicate and share the joy of art creation with others.
