Follow up the Expansion and Renovation of the Hong Kong Museum of Art Barrier-free Facilities
Invited by the Hong Kong Museum of Art (HKMA), ADA attended the “Expansion and Renovation of the Hong Kong Museum of Art Barrier-free Facilities Meeting” with Hong Kong Joint Council for People with Disabilities on 24th May. Most of our suggestions regarding the accessibility facilities were accepted by the HKMA, namely:
1. Relocating the Barrier-free entry at the “Main Entry” and upgrade it to automatically slide doors ;
2. Providing the foldable changing and nursing bed for adult in the G/F accessible toilet;
3. Providing the tactile guide path from accessible lift to tactile floor map in the upper levels.
