Creativity to Independence – Inclusive Exhibition 2016
Under the “Creativity to Independence Project”, funded by the Social Welfare Department, the inclusive exhibition will be held in July. The distinctive artworks of participants who had 120 hours of training from two painting workshops and the art pieces by collective creation will be displayed in the exhibition. Arts accessibility services will be provided. Welcome all to visit us.

Cross All Borders: Hong Kong Festival Showcasing New Visual Artists with Disabilities 2016-Application Reaching New Heights
Cross All Borders Festival 2016 has received applications of nearly 900 artworks. We hereby thank all participants for your support! More than hundreds of outstanding artworks were selected by the adjudication committee. The list of selected artworks has been posted on the ADA website. Congratulations to all candidates whose artworks are selected and cheer up for the remaining. Please keep up the good work. All are welcome to join the exhibition of selected pieces at the Exhibition Gallery of Tsuen Wan Town Hall from 5 to 14 October.

Artist with Disability Development Scheme – Community Inclusion Event 2016
Supported by Lee Hysan Foundation, the three grantees of the 3rd year of "Artists with Disability Development Fund" Kevin Cheng, Chiu Wai Chi and Lee Hin brought an extraordinary showcase blending photography, video, sand painting, piano and vocal together at Hysan place on 12 June 2:00pm and 4:30pm. Three artists shared their thoughts on dream, childhood and imagination.

"Light the world‧Pass it on Charity Concert" successfully concluded
A meaningful fundraising concert was presented by Hong Kong International Youth Philharmoniaon, Hong Kong Education Farm Society on 26 June. ADA Angel Lee Hin and Lee Shing performed with Yen-cheng Chang, a visually impaired pianist from Taiwan and the Philharmonia. Lee Shing and Yen-cheng Chang performed "Libertango" by four hands on one piano which gained a round of applause. The net proceeds of ticket will be donated to Arts with the Disabled Association Hong Kong.

AWDs Training New Programme “Crochet Workshop” &”Movement Workshop”
Do you ever wish to create an artwork by only a crochet hook and a yarn? In the “Crochet Workshop”, participants can learn the basic technique and how to admire crochets. In the “Movement Workshop”, participants can learn how to express themselves through bodies with the elements of imagination and mime etc.

Open Studio: Itchy Ear – Listening Workshop
We are used to the sound around us, do you ever stop for a moment to listen to it? In the workshop, participants are invited to open their ears, listen and explore the fun of sound. Look around the environment by the ears and do the sound collection exercise with imagination and creativity. That would enrich our senses and observations. Enrollment is open to public on 7th July at 10:00AM.

Audio Description Workshop and Seminar (Performing and Visual Arts)
ADA invites two experts Roz Chalmers and Andrew Holland from UK VocalEyes for workshops and seminar in July to enrich the audio description knowledge of arts practitioners, practicing and potential audio describers regarding Audio Description. VocalEyes is the largest organization in UK providing comprehensive audio description in preforming arts, visual arts. This training will include both theoretical and practical knowledge.
