ADAHK X CCB (Asia) -"Cross All Borders: Excellent Artwork Exhibition"
Cross All Borders: Hong Kong Festival Showcasing New Visual Artists with Disabilities 2016 was successfully held with over two thousands of visitors. To continue this meaningful grand occasion, some selected winning artworks are displayed at China Construction Bank Tower from now to 2 January 2017 so that more visitors can have a chance to appreciate the talents of artist with disabilities. A few days ago, officiating guests unveiled the opening ceremony of “Cross All Borders: Excellent Artwork Exhibition”. Lee Gardens Presents “Christmas Galleries at Lee Gardens”, partnering with the Lee Hysan Foundation to support ADAHK
Renowned Japanese photographer Kotori Kawashima has specially chosen six photographs captures simple moments of joy in Hong Kong, as a series of limited edition postcards for charity sale in Christmas Galleries at Lee Gardens. All proceeds without deducting any costs will be donated to us in order to support the participation and development of people with disabilities in the arts. Lee Hysan Foundation is generous to provide a 1:1 matching fund to double the donation, which doubled everyone’s donation as well! Let’s pay an effort for charity!

ADAHK 30th Anniversary Cocktail Reception
To celebrate the 30th anniversary of Arts with the Disabled Association Hong Kong (ADAHK), we held a cocktail reception at Congress Plus on 7 November. Officiating guest Mr. Stephen Sui-under secretary of Labour and Welfare, and friends from all aspects of society have attended the party to enjoy this memorable moment with us. During the celebration, five artists with disabilities presented the first crossover art scarves that adapted artworks from Liu Tung-mui and Ko Nam and made by ADAHK X L plus H Fashion. The enthusiastic response from guests makes the climax of the event.

Panasonic Cup 2016
In the early November, ADA Angels Apple Tong and Registered Artist Zita Lam were invited to the Panasonic Cup 2016 held in Sha Tin Racecourse which is sponsored by Shun Hing Group. They provided a unique portrait sketch service to CUHK principal Joseph Sung and Japanese consulate guests. Meanwhile, ADAM presented the latest crossover art scarves, adding inclusive and artistic atmosphere for the event!

Welcome to our studio!
“Artlink” has always been used blog and post the artwork to communicate with other friends. This semester, participants from Hong Kong, Texas and Saudi Arabia created different artworks based on the theme “Toys”. We are so glad that our friends in Texas visited our studio and joined our Artlink workshop this time. We can send greetings to each other and communicate face to face! In the lesson, we opened the parcel from pen pal and excited to appreciate and response, everyone enjoyed the whole process of communication!

ADAHK X Cheongsam Connect will present on “Ink Asia” for charity sale!
“Ink Asia” focusing on the future development of contemporary ink art, ADAHK was invited to present paintings from Liu Tung-mui and hold Ink Piggy Bank Workshop; meanwhile, a group of like-minded elegant ladies from “Cheongsam Connect” applied delicate ink-pattern cloth to hand-made 30 limited-edition cluster bags and hold coin bag workshop to raise funds for us. All proceeds will be donated to ADAHK, welcome your participation!

Join in Youth Square “Garden of the Artisans” Residential Exhibition
Have you ever tried to visit the exhibition in the hotel guest room? Under “Creativity to Independence Project” funded by Social Welfare Department, “Visual Arts Creation and Exhibition Workshop” is going to hold an exhibition at Y-Loft, Room 1210 (238 Chai Wan Road, Chai Wan, Hong Kong). With guidance from art facilitators, participants will interact with the visitors during the exhibition period from 9th to 11th December, 2016. Welcome to visit!
