‘A Bit More Than Arts Festival 2016’, presented by The Jockey Club Inclusive Arts Studio, was officially completed on 31st March, 2017 with great success! This month-long annual festival had been held at the Jockey Club Creative Arts Centre (JCCAC) and Community Art Gallery of Sham Shui Po MTR Station. Through a series of exhibitions, performance showcases, guided tours cum workshops, arts sharing and exploration workshops, more than 65,000 people participated in this festival. The Jockey Club Inclusive Arts Studio would strike for our best in organising a variety of arts education activities to promote inclusive arts and to create an inclusive society in Hong Kong.

Moving between the gaps in Wanchai - A wheelchair experience photography workshop
ADAHK was invited by WYNG Foundation to host a workshop for WMA Master Award Exhibition 2017. To complement the Exhibition theme “Mobility”, ADA Angel Kevin Cheng will lead participants on a journey in wheelchairs throughout Wanchai. Participants will take photos from wheelchair users’ perspective to experience the day-to-day obstacles encountered by wheelchair users, and enable them to review accessibility in urban planning.

Would you like to have a taste of performing arts? Don’t miss our Snare Drum Workshop and Puppet Workshop which will be held in May to July and August respectively. In the Snare Drum Workshop, participants would learn to play snare drum and have some percussion fun, whereas facilitator of the Puppet Workshop will teach the skills of puppet making. To be more fun, participants will take the chance in creating their puppets’ characters by using body gestures and speaking in different tones. Interested? ACT NOW to apply for these workshops. ADA is honoured to be commissioned by De French May and Hong Kong Heritage Museum again in providing Arts Accessibility service for their feature exhibition Inventing le Louvre: From Palace to Museum over 800 Years. This presentation aims to present the universality and vitality that has characterized the Musée du Louvre since its beginnings. In addition, we will also provide arts accessibility services to the following activities in allowing everyone of us the pleasure and enjoyment of art appreciation.
