Funded by the Lee Hysan Foundation and the Jean C. K. Ho Family Foundation, the first annual showcase will show to the world the first year learning and achievement by students from four local partner schools. In addition, scholarship grantees Mr Lun Wai Kit, Edward and Mr Tang Ho Yin, Chris will bring an extraordinary showcase to the community and demonstrate their artistic advancement since joining the scheme.

"City Dress Up: Blossoming Stairs", a city-wide community art project leading by the Hong Kong Museum of Arts and supported by ADAHK, is slotted to have for art carnivals in the second half of the year, which filled with amusing and educational booth activities. In addition, a series of diversity tours guided by both docents from the Museum and Artists with Disabilities, will enable participants to appreciate arts from the perspective of wheelchair users and visually impaired visitors as well as experience how people with disabilities maneuver our city.

The International Arts Carnival 2017: Accessible Programs

Seeing ADAHK on MTR
ADAHK is launching a corporate promotional campaign in advocating of appreciating of artistic talents of people with disabilities. It should be seen during the second and third week of July along tracksides throughout the MTR network. How if you take a snapshot and share it on our Facebook page whenever you spot it?
Puppet play is a dynamic, rich and diversified form of art. With different materials and various genres, puppets carry also people’s stories, thoughts and emotions alike. Jockey Club Inclusive Arts Studio has slotted a Puppet Workshop in August for people with different abilities. Besides of introducing this form of entertaining and enjoyable art form, it too encourages participants to express themselves through their puppets. The workshop is now open for everybody who is interested in puppets, regardless of one’s abilities.

Art workshop @ Heritage Vogue.Hollywood Road
ADAHK was invited to take part in the “Heritage Vogue.Hollywood Road” on 2 July in Sheung Wan as part of the celebration of the 20th anniversary of the HKSAR. We were proud in engaging all friends and guests in a wide series of interactive and fun art activities, including face painting, balloon twist and paper art creation by our artists with disabilities with an aim to promote diversity and equal opportunities for people with disabilities to access to and excel in arts.
