Jockey Club Inclusive Arts Studio (JCIAS) Latest Newsletter has been released!
Our latest newsletter that covers programmes information from September to March 2018 has been published. There are countless of arty and interesting programmes throughout the period which including music, dance, sculpture, balloon twisting, simple block printing, movement, to name but a few. Aiming at supporting the artistic development of artists with disabilities in a flexible way, a new round of Be Inspired! Artist Nurturing Scheme” is open for application. The Scheme includes a “Be Inspired! Mentorship” component which provides one on one mentoring to provide guidance and support, while the “Be Inspired! Oversea Exchange” part encourages artists reach out for overseas event/competition to help widening their horizons and promote cultural exchange.

A Cappella Trainer’s Training Master Class Participants get inspired!
Led by Mr Chu Yuan Lei, Pop & Jazz Artistic Director, Taiwan Choral Music Centre, a Cappella Trainer’s Training Master Class were completely successfully on Thursday 13th July. With both elementary and advance classes, this training enables participants to learn A Cappella through the understanding of vocal history, techniques, operation of PA system and use of relevant software. Mr Chu also invited the vocal team trained by his student to perform and demonstrate the required rehearsal techniques. It benefited all participants in both their personal attainments and on teaching skills definitely and considerably.
