"City Dress Up: Blossoming Stairs", a city-wide community art project leading by the Hong Kong Museum of Arts and supported by ADAHK, is going to hold the last carnival on 16th December. While artists with different abilities will create and share their artworks with participants at the event, various sensational performances will also be brought to participants. Whereas art accessibility booth and diversity tour will enable participants to explore how arts could be appreciated through different senses.

A Bit More than Arts Festival 2017 Integrate arts spirit and fun - Explore possibilities yet to come
The annual “A Bit More than Arts Festival” is going to unveil. The Festival will be held from 2 January to 6 February in 2018. With the theme this year ‘Integrate art spirit and fun - Explore possibilities yet to come’, we will recount bits and pieces of ‘Inclusive Arts Project’ in 2017. Through exhibitions, performance showcases, guided tours and workshops, and arts sharing and exploration workshops, we wish everyone could take on the tour of art and fun, and joint hands with our artists to explore all possibilities in arts.

Ink Asia will be held in Hall 5B, Hong Kong Convention and Exhibition Centre between 15th and 17th December 2017. With our vision ‘Arts are for Everyone’, we are proud to exhibit artists from ADAHK and to promote diversity and equal opportunities for people with disabilities to have access to and excel in the arts. Exhibiting artists include Resident Artist Ko Nam, Li Tung Mui and registered artist Lo Pui Yung. Join us at booth D15 to view the brilliant artworks.

ADAM is awarded “The Best Practice Award in Social Welfare 2017”
ADAM is proud to be awarded the Top 10 Best Practice Award in Social Welfare 2017 for recognizing of our efforts in promoting community participation and creating positive changes. China Light and Power Hong Kong Limited(CLP) ‘Power your love’ Scheme
On 11th November, Green Leaf artist Chiu Wai-chi, Jessica has been invited for a sand painting performance at CLP prize presentation ceremony of ‘Power Your Love’. With the sound navigation of Mr.Ram Chiang, the whole performance became an amazing experience for all the guests. Guests have given a big hand to them after the wonderful performance. ADAHK Artist Lee Kam Chuen joined the BiG-i Art Festival 2017 and Award Ceremony in Osaka, Japan
Hong Kong artist Lee Kam Chuen won the ‘Ikko Nagano Award’, one of the eight judges’ awards of the BiG-i Art Project 2017. He was invited to attend the BiG-i Art Festival and award ceremony at the International Communication Center for Persons with Disabilities (BiG-i) in Osaka, Japan. During his stay at BiG-I, Lee has gained fruitful experience through attending various art exhibitions and performances and interacting with judges and awardees from different countries.
