ADAHK proudly presents the bi-annual flagship Fundraising Gala which will be held on Tuesday 13 March 2018. As per our long tradition, this flagship Gala features outstanding crossover art performances between artists with disabilities and our dear supporters to demonstrate inclusion via arts. This bi-annual special performance showcases exceptional talents in vocal, light painting, Chinese opera, erhu, cello, piano, wheelchair dance, marching band, rugby, cheongsam catwalk, street dance and many more. Funds raised through this Gala will be used in a meaningful way to support the artistic development of persons with disabilities, including professional training, mentorship, overseas exchange, arts promotion, and operations.

Aiming at supporting the artistic development of artists with disabilities in a more flexible way, a new round of “Be Inspired! Artist Nurturing Scheme” is now open for application. The Scheme includes “Be Inspired! Mentorship” and “Be Inspired! Oversea Exchange”, which encourages artists to widen horizons and inspiration, as well as to promote cultural exchange respectively. Submission deadline is due on 9 April 2018 for this season, we look forward to receiving your application, don’t miss this rare chance in advancing artistic talents!

Participants of the “Community in Art”’ Floral Arrangement Workshop will join hands with students from Sam Shui Natives Association Lau Pun Cheung School’s ceramics class which is one of the participating schools of Artists-In-Residence under “Ignition Scheme’’, to exhibit floral arrangements and ceramics works in the “Hong Kong Flower Show 2018” during 21 March to 25 March 2018. The exhibition includes audio description. Do come and visit!
