‘Ignition Scheme Finale Showcase’ Come and enjoy the spectacular event!
Coming to the final year of the Ignition Scheme, students from 4 partner-schools have challenged themselves through different art forms, slowly exploring their characteristics and fun along the art journey. In this coming July, they will be showcasing their talents and expressing their true self through a variety of art forms: music (flute, trumpet, and percussion), dance (Latin and Hip Hop), drawing and ceramic at the ‘Ignition Scheme Finale Showcase.’ Join us and celebrate their extraordinary talents!

Body Schema - Yeung Siu-fong Solo Exhibition
What is the limit of your body? What is the perfect physique? ‘Body Schema - Yeung Siu-fong Solo Exhibition’ leads you through a series of cross-media works, including ceramics, video, sound, and installation art. The public can probe deep into the meaning and what constitute body aesthetics. An array of groundbreaking and avant-garde artworks will be exhibited at the Hong Kong Arts Centre Experimental Gallery. We will also organize a unique experience workshop. Siu-fong and dancer Wing-yi will join hands to lead participants to further explore their bodies so that everyone can redefine and reconstruct their understanding of body.

[Paint]scape - An Exhibition of Works by Artists with Disabilities
When you close your eyes, what kind of scenery will you see? In [Paint]scape, which showcases a selection of landscape paintings from over 20 emerging to professional artists with disabilities offers insights on artists’ infinite range of self-reflection and self-expression. What appears to be a mountain or building encodes artists’ narratives and ineffable affection towards the place. In collaboration with 8 NGO partners, [Paint]scape explores the many ways artists have used landscape to shed light on their memories, experiences, and personal journeys. We will also organize guided tours and workshops. Facilitators and our artists will lead the participants to the world of landscape, finding a seemingly limitless intellectual and visual inspiration. Participants can also make use of different media to create their own landscape painting and get a chance to display their artwork at the Phrase II exhibition.
