ADAM joins The Art Next Expo 2019
The Art Next Expo is back for another edition at PMQ from 1 November to 4 November with the works of more than 100 artists from around the world. ADAM will present a series of artworks created by our artists with disabilities, allowing the public to view a range of eye-catching and inspirational pieces. Exhibiting artists include Frank Wong, Wong Yun Chuen, Lo Pui Yung, and Li Tze Shun. We will also launch our new ADAM’s art merchandise at the booth. November’s Have Fun with Arts is back again!
In November’s Have Fun with Arts, we are thrilled to bring you a series of exciting art activities. We have invited an artist with disability, Frances to show us the trick to recycle used or old straws and turn them into vivid blooming flowers!

How to transform artworks created by persons with different abilities into animations through software effectively?
Have you ever created art pieces with smartphones or tablets? As technology advances, art is no longer restricted to 2D surfaces, and art creations are getting multi-dimensional. In this workshop, you will learn how to convert artworks into lively animations using the latest and free design software.

Art Club 1+1 Sharing Talk - Side by Side is now open for application
The relationship between artist and art administrator, or artist with disabilities and support person, is inseparable. If the two complement each other and understand each other’s roles well, it would bring exceptional merits to the artist’s development and thus the promotion of art.
As we arrive at the final seminar of this year’s “1+1 series”, we have invited artist, Li Shing and art administrator, Joe, to share their trip to the United States and stories behind the relationship of artists and art administrators or support persons. The seminar is free of charge, register if you feel interested! Docent Tour to Yim Tin Tsai Art Festival 2019 is now open for application!
Organized by the Hulu Culture, Yim Tin Tsai Art Festival 2019 will be held at the end of 2019. Local artists and design students are invited to create and exhibit artworks in the island of Yim Tin Tsai. Arts with the Disabled Association Hong Kong is going to organize two docent tours, leading the participants to a spectacular journey of art and history of Yim Tin Tsai.
Date: 7 December and 21 December Assemble time: 9:45 am Assemble and dismiss location: Exit F of Kowloon Tong Station Quota for each tour: 15 people (including accompanying personnel) Fee: Free (excluding transportation to and from assemble and dismiss location) Duration: 2 hours The quota for the tours is limited and first-come-first-serve. “Art Competition for Social Inclusion 2020” will soon open for application
Organised by the “etnet” and the “SoIN,” the “Art Competition for Social Inclusion 2020” aims to engage persons with disabilities aged 16 or above and to unleash their creativities, talents, and potential. On top of that, the completion also seeks to promote a society without barriers as well as social inclusion.
ADAM is invited as one of the “Social Enterprise Partner” for this unique competition. We sincerely encourage all interested parties to participate. Visit to our Inclusive Arts Studio and Arts Accessibility Service Centre by The Swire Group Charitable Trust
We are delighted to have The Swire Group Charitable Trust visiting our Inclusive Arts Studio and Arts Accessibility Service Centre on 18 October. Astounded by our dedication to the promotion of inclusive arts in Hong Kong, the Trust took the chance to visit the home of creativity as well as to understand the application and development of arts accessibility service in Hong Kong. During the visit, artists with disabilities, Kevin Cheng and Teresa Ho introduced their photography and block-printing artworks respectively, and exchanged ideas with the guests. Teresa also introduced the guests to the joy of creation through the demonstration of block-printing.
