Studying in Tung Wah Group of Hospitals Kwan Fong Kai Chi School, Ku Ming-chit’s life is inseparable from drawing. He is interested in collecting printed items, e.g. non-smoking signs, energy labels, floor plans, MTR route maps, etc. He is also a keen observer of ordinary daily objects, such as sockets, extension plugs and computer keyboards and would draw each of the switches, signal lights and keys in details. Ming-chit’s family and teachers have always encouraged him to create freely and he has received an award in ‘Cross All Borders’ in 2018. Ming-chit has been exposed to a wide range of art media, but he is fond of drawing the things that he likes. Being particular about details, Ming-chit would start all over again if he thinks a stroke is less than perfect. He has his own standard for each pen and piece of paper he uses for drawing in order to express himself the fullest.
