The exhibition provides an array of arts accessibility services, including audio description, tangible representation, braille information, sign interpretation, accessible art workshops, on-site accessible tours, and sharing sessions by photographers with visual impairment. 【ADAM】Every Cloud has a Silver Lining Group Exhibition
This Group Exhibition features artworks of five artists, Alvin Li, Apple Tong, Chou Chiu-ming, Kevin Cheng, and So Tat-shing, who differ widely from each other by the types of medium and styles in their arts. Still, all share the common ground of using art as the sustenance to build courage and optimism whenever the going gets tough. The five artists want to inspire others to step out of grim life moments, search for that sliver of hope, and remember that every dark cloud has a silver lining.
One of the exhibition features is a series of limited-edition handbags hand-crafted by our Vice-Chairperson, Mrs. Olivia Leung, wrapped with printed silk scarves featuring artworks from Apple Tong. The series is a perfect integration of our talented artists’ paintings and the excellent craftsmanship with love from Olivia. Venue: Loupe Address: H410, Block B, PMQ, 35 Aberdeen Street, Central, Hong Kong Exhibition period: 1 April - 30 April 2021 Opening hours: 12 noon to 7 pm No admission fee. All are welcomed! |
‘Art Generator’ Public Sharing concluded successfully
The ‘Art Generator’ Public Sharing had concluded successfully on 27 March. Dr Gadsden participated in the sharing online at her studio in London. Our group of artists with disabilities took turns to share their artworks created, experiences, and feelings gained throughout the training scheme. Many of our artists felt ‘recharged’ and were excited to embark on a new journey exploring the extraordinary world of arts. Video documentation of the event will be uploaded to our website and Facebook by the end of April. Don’t miss out.
*The ‘Art Generator Training Scheme’ is supported by The Hong Kong Arts Development Council. |
