Cross All Borders: Hong Kong Festival Showcasing New Visual Artists with Disabilities 2014,Opening cum Prize Presentation Ceremony was successfully held on 6 September 2014 at Sha Tin Town Hall.

Opening cum Prize Presentation Ceremony

Cross All Borders 2014 has received overwhelming supports from public and schools with nearly 850 applications!

 

Selected by an adjudication committee, the 151 shortlisted artworks will be exhibited at The Exhibition Gallery of Sha Tin Town Hall from 6 to 18 September. We will also exhibit the other submitted artworks this year.

 

The outstanding pieces will be awarded in the Opening cum Prize Presentation Ceremony.

 

A range of Arts Accessibility services will be provided in the exhibition. For details and simplified version of information (in Chinese), please visit the website of our Jockey Club Arts Accessibility Service Centre.

Accessible captions and Sign interpretation available at the opening ceremony. Sign interpretation available for guided tours. Guided Tour and Workshop

 

Public Guided Tour and School Tour workshop will be held during the exhibition. Application for Public Guided Tour starts from now to 1 September 2014. First -come, first-serve. Details please refer to below:

Phase II – Announcement of Selected Artworks (The results will be posted on ADA website; Selected Applicants will be notified individually) – Completed

Phase III – Delivery of Selected Artworks to ADA Head Office by Selected Applicants – Completed

Phase IV – Announcement and presentation of Awards at Sha Tin Town Hall Exhibition Gallery – 6 September 2014

Prizes

 

Each division has a gold prize, a silver prize, and a bronze prize

 

Gold Prize: Trophy and Cash Prize HK$2,500

Silver Prize: Trophy and Cash Prize HK$1,200

Bronze Prize: Trophy and Cash Prize HK$800

Merit Prize with certificate

 

Selected Applicants can apply for Dr. Marion Fang Arts with the Disabled Development Fund for a maximum amount of HK$13,000 for making further development in arts.

Selected Applicants may have the opportunities to be ADA registered artists and participate in local and overseas exchange activities and competitions.
