Arts activities at the JCIAS from December 2022 to July 2023 are now open for recruitment
Jockey Club Inclusive Arts Studio (JCIAS) brings you a series of art activities themed on ‘Inspiring Senses’ from December 2022 to July 2023 to awaken and explore your five senses. The JCIAS is where you can discover the beauty of life through the hottest and most loved art activities, including eco-art, printmaking, calligraphy, light painting theatre, creative photography, etc.
To celebrate Hong Kong craftsmanship and keep our traditions alive, JCIAS will, for the very first time, introduce workshops on Hong Kong’s traditional craft. Participants can try their hands at different essential parts of Hong Kong’s cultural fabric. What is more, in order to make a closer connection between the JCIAS and the community, we will open a part of the studio at specific periods to provide art-loving people with disabilities with a platform to showcase their work to the community. Three exhibitions will soon be launched. Do not miss these exciting and creative arts activities and the opportunity to meet fellow art lovers! Click here for details and enrolment |
‘Shine On’ Fundraising Gala 2023
ADAHK’s Fundraising Gala 2023 is scheduled for January 2023. Being heavily affected by the pandemic, the bi-annual Gala was suspended in 2020. As the pandemic slows down, ADAHK is beginning to organise our bi-annual Fundraising Gala to showcase spectacular performances by our artists with disabilities. It is also a perfect opportunity to showcase exciting and inspiring crossover art performances amongst professional artists, supporters and artists with disabilities, demonstrating the beauty of inclusion.
We do not receive government subvention. Our operation relies on generous donations from individuals, corporations and foundations alike. Net proceeds raised at the Gala 2023 will be donated to ADAHK to discover more young talented artists with disabilities, support the professional development of artists with disabilities, and build an inclusive society through the arts.
