Congratulations to the long-time partner of ADAHK, Roz Chalmers, who has been awarded an MBE in the UK
Roz Chalmers, a long-time partner of the Arts Accessibility Team of ADAHK, was awarded a Member of the Order of the British Empire in the UK earlier in recognition of her services to the arts and people with visual impairments. ADAHK has been working closely with Chalmers since 2016. In addition to inviting Chalmers to provide English Audio Descriptions for local art programmes, she was also invited to serve as a trainer for our courses to train a new generation of Audio Describers in Hong Kong. We would like to take this opportunity to thank Chalmers for walking side by side with us to promote the development of Arts Accessibility in Hong Kong.
