The First Step to Artistic Excellence Cross All Borders: Hong Kong Festival Showcasing New Visual Artists with Disabilities 2014 – is calling for entry!
The 6th Cross All Borders is now open for Application. The Festival aims to explore the talents of budding visual artists with disabilities and provide a platform for them to showcase and further develop their artistic potentials. Outstanding artworks selected by the adjudication committee will have chance to present at Sha Tin Town Hall Exhibition Gallery. Application Deadline: 6pm, 9 May 2014 (Friday).

Apple Tong invited as illustrator for SHKP Reading Club to promote reading culture
ADA’s Green Leaf Artist, Miss Apple Tong, together with a few local visual artists, has been invited by Sun Hung Kai Properties Reading Club to create a series of graphics for promoting happy reading. The artwork created by Apple is colorfully illustrated - a big tree risen from the book transferring nutrients of knowledge upwards to children, conveying the message that reading brings us knowledge and opportunities of self-advancement. Apple would like to explore the reading world and share the joy of reading through art piece.
The Hong Kong Jockey Club Community Project Grant: Inclusive Arts Project Updates
Open Studio – A Cappella Music Journey will be held on 24 May. The enrolment is opened at 10am, 16 April. Free admission and all people with or without disabilities are welcome. Limited quota, first-come-first served. (Details is available in Chinese only)

Young Painter Displaying His Artistic Talent Young Emerging Artist Award: 2013 Wining Artwork Exhibition
Registered Artist, Cheung Wai Kin, Tony, was one of the finalists of the “Young Emerging Artist Award 2013” organized by the Hong Kong Aviation Capital. His artwork “Central Bus Terminal” is now being exhibited in the MTR Central Station along with the art pieces of the other finalists until 17 May 2014. Drop by when you are in Central!
